things to know ABOUT your service

*Federal law prohibits us from dumping these items in the landfill. *

• NO whole or shredded tires, propane tanks, oxygen tanks, large batteries, lead acid batteries, lithium-ion batteries, burning barrels, combustible items, liquid paint, motor oil, Hazardous chemicals, Radioactive or Biohazard waste, pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, construction debris, concrete, fluorescent bulbs, or syringes not in a protective container.  
• Paint can be taken after it is mixed with sand or cat litter to make it solid.
• Heavy bulk construction material such as drywall, lumber, dirt, or tree limbs should be disposed of in an open top roll off container.

 Furniture, appliances, and items outside the can: 

• Please notify our office at least one day prior to collection day, during office hours, the items you will have out for pick up to ensure they are taken. 
• Please bundle carpet or wood no larger than 4 foot long. 
• All mattresses and box springs must be wrapped in plastic before they will be taken. 
• There is a small fee for these items. Feel free to call our office to inquire on the fee. 

• Please have all trash bagged and at the curb or end of driveway the night before your scheduled collection day. Our drivers are on a strict schedule and cannot come back if missed. 
• Trash not bagged or weighing over 50 pounds may not be taken. 
• Our residential collection service includes up to 4 of the 32-gallon bags each week or 7 of the 13-gallon size bags.
• Please wrap all glass with newspaper, tape or plastic to ensure safety of employees. 
• Please breakdown cardboard and compact into one box if possible. 
• Trash cans or dumpsters rented are the property of Vickroy's Disposal. Charges may apply if lost or stolen. If a rented can or dumpster needs replaced. please send us a message or call our office at 740-385-0504 to create a work order. 
• Please place needles and syringes in a sealed puncture resistant container. 
• Dumpsters must not be blocked on scheduled day of collection. We do not return to empty blocked dumpsters.
• Do not place appliances, bulk items or construction material in small dumpsters. (1.5 yard up to 4 yard in size) 
• Vickroy's Disposal is not responsible for missing or damaged cans or lids.
• Please be sure only items you want disposed of are setting out with your trash. 
• Please make payments promptly on or before the 5th of each month.   Payments may be made online, by phone ($3 convenience fee applies to phone payments), or by mailing to: PO Box 70, Logan, OH 43138.
• Payments take 24 hours to update in our system on business days. If you make a payment after hours, it won’t show up until the following business day. To make sure your trash is collected, payments need to be received before your scheduled pickup day during office hours. We don’t return for same-day payments made on pickup days.
• Please notify our office as soon as possible when moving to transfer service or to cancel service.  If you rent a trash can or dumpster, please call us to schedule pick up of those items. Charges may apply if containers are not available to collect.
